To describe how one element concerns or is understood in respect to another. The perspective of one element defines the other, although this other may have a meaning outside of the relationship with the element.
Up Until
To mark the limit or boundary of a time or space with the edge or envelope of another. The two adjoining entities remain separate, however both define the volume or length of time in focus.
Together With
To add an entity to another or others. By creating this grouping, the definition of the individual elements is given by the whole, where the description or nature of one can transfer to the others.
Thanks To
To acknowledge the importance and effect of one in the transformation or growth of another. This relationship is constructive and points to the improvement or change brought by interaction and coordination.
Saving
To deny or take exception to another whether to hold or protect, or to remove or deny. Although the purpose of separating the subject from the other or others may vary, the description of the subject is through contrast.
Regardless Of
To not count or acknowledge the interaction or change brought about by interface with another or others. This is a subtractive relationship where the subject is described and exists in spite of another.
Preparatory To
To define an order, begin before others, and possibly describe a causal relationship. The subject can control the meaning and nature of those that follow, and in this way is a stronger position than to fall after.
Notwithstanding
To avoid the effect or nature of other elements and retain an understanding different than those being compared. The condition requires a contrast between the subject and the other elements.
In The Face Of
To weigh an entity through the introduction of another. This creates a dynamic relationship where at least the subject transforms to evolve or cope with the other. The condition is either of comparison or contrast.
Excepting
To exclude or deny another. This relationship defines the subject through the absence or separation of an element. This describes through opposition, instead of similarities.
